KINDERGARTEN

LIBRARY VISITS

Our regular library visits allow children to discover the world of books. They promote language development, stimulate the imagination and provide space for new experiences and discoveries. This lays the foundation for a lifelong love of reading.

YOGA

Each week, our experienced children’s yoga instructor introduces the kids to the world of yoga. Playfully and with plenty of imagination, the little ones learn to connect with their bodies and find calm – a true highlight for body and mind.

Settling-In at Thalito

Gentle Settling-In at Thalito – Step by Step into a New Beginning

Starting daycare is a big step for both children and parents. At Thalito, we support this important phase over 11 days (approximately 2–3 weeks) with a gentle, multi-step settling-in process. Our goal: Every child should feel safe and secure with us – right from the start.

Trust Grows in Small Steps

At first, each child explores the new environment together with a familiar caregiver. Only once the first bonds with a Thalito staff member have been built do the initial short separations take place. This way, trust grows step by step – and the children learn: I’m allowed to feel comfortable here, even without Mom or Dad.

Attachment as the Foundation for Everything

Children need secure relationships in order to explore the world with curiosity. That’s exactly why we place so much importance on a gentle settling-in process. It forms the foundation for children to feel comfortable with us, to play freely, learn, and build friendships.

Theme worlds at Thalito

At Thalito, we dedicate each month to a new themed world that children explore in a playful, creative, and holistic way. Through stories, experiments, movement, and artistic activities, they dive deep into the topic – engaging all their senses.

Our themed worlds combine curiosity with the joy of discovery, supporting the holistic development of the children. They playfully expand their vocabulary, learn to understand connections, and experience how exciting the world around them can be. At the same time, they strengthen their social skills by exploring together, creating, and sharing their experiences with others.

In this way, each theme becomes more than just a learning topic – it turns into a vivid experience that nurtures children’s creativity, self-confidence, and enthusiasm for learning.
